Tan Taşçı was born in Hannofer Hildeshaim, in October 30th 1981. After his highschool education, he sang songs in polyphonic chorus. He joined Hacettepe University Conservatory Part Time Chorus. After that, he began Ankara University Conservatory, Opera Departmant. At the same time, he performed in various choruses like folk music, art music, and Turkish Republic Opera. Tan took to the stage at many night clubs and organizations in his school days. His first album called “Rica Ederim” which consists of his own compositions, was released in Appril 2005. And, his love songs became hit in a short time. His second album called “Sözümü Tutamadım” was released in 2007. There are not only his own compositions in this album, there is also Sezen Aksu and Onno Tunç's composition called “Geçer”. He made a single called “Yıldızlar da Kayar” in 2008. “Yıldızlar da Kayar” which belongs to Ferdi Tayfur, became hit song of 2008. He was appreciated by the music authorities with this cover.
