Gripin is a Turkish rock band founded in 1999 and they reached their professional crew in 2001.

 

 The band began with performances in Bronx , İstanbul before gaining popularity. Gripin performed in 2003 on the Tuborg Modern Rock Festival along with Cake,Wayne Hussey,Shed and other bands.  They released their debut album in 2004 an the album is produced by Haluk Kurosman. After the album Hikayeler Anlatıldı, they released the album, which consists of songs’ live and acoustic versions. In 2007 Gripin released new album “Gripin”.  The band picked up a award at the Altın Kelebek : Best band of the year and a second award; Best Song at Powertürk Müzik Ödülleri. Later they added the song “Dalgalandım Da Duruldum” in their album. The following year, the band joined the army. After the military service, Evren Gülçığ left the group and the four remaining members released their third album “M.S. 05 03 2010” which is released by Avrupa Müzik.
