Ciwan Haco (1957, Suriye) is a Kürt pop-jazz musician. He is from Mardin, but he was born in Kamışlı, Syria. After his highschool education, he has been studying at Bochum University, Music Departmant for three years in Germany. Ciwan Haco who also performed with European bands, has albums called “Si u Se Gula”, “Duri”, “Bilura Min”, “Gula Sor”, “Leyla”, “Girtiyen Azadiye” in Turkey. His first concert was experienced at 1st Hasankeyif Culture and Art Festivale organized by Batman City Hall. Then he had concerts at İstanbul Abdi İpekçi, in January 2004. He is living in Sweden now.
